Cookie statement

In short: Retrieva uses one cookie to keep you logged in and a few small settings in your browser. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. That is why you do not have to click away a cookie banner.
1. Which cookie do we set?

2. Which data do we keep in your browser (local storage)?
This stays on your own device and is not used to track you.

3. Why do we not ask for consent?
Cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to provide the service you request do not require consent (Dutch Telecommunications Act, Art. 11.7a(3)). That covers everything above except retrieva-herkomst. That one is measurement data with no or minimal privacy impact: only on your own device, only for our own statistics, not shared with third parties, no profile, and gone after 30 days. The law does not require consent for that either. If we ever want to use something else, such as advertising or third-party analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this statement.
4. Counting visits without cookies
We count how many people visit the site without a cookie or other identifier on your device. See the privacy statement for how that works.
5. Managing it yourself
You can always clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Without the login cookie you cannot stay logged in.
